Women are only just discovering they have bedroom kink that ‘millions’ are into

And you may have it too...

Whether it comes to your favourite genre of music or even your go-to coffee order - it's clear we're all different when it comes to what we like.

And sex is no different, with many people having many different preferences when it comes to getting it on.

But, with that said, it seems some things in the sack are more universally desired than others as women are only now just discovering they have bedroom kink that 'millions' are also into.

Now, the advent of social media platforms like TikTok has helped forge an entire community of sex-positive peeps who bare all - quite literally - when it comes to doing the deed.

From opening up about various sex positions, tips and tricks and even ways to climax quicker, we've all been treated with a whole bunch of info about what people like when knocking boots.

And there's one particular thing it seems many people are into without even knowing it has a proper name.

It is none other than the 'praise kink'.

Sex professor Dr Nicole K McNichols explains: "People who have praise kinks get turned on by their partner complimenting them during sex.

"Praise kink exists on a continuum of course, because, I mean, who doesn't love being told that they're beautiful or hot or amazing in some way?"

Jennifer Rehor, a licensed marriage and family therapist, sex therapist, and the author of a significant study on women and kink echoed: "Praise kink allows someone to explicitly ask for the kinds of positive reinforcement that they crave, in order to feel desire, desired, erotic, sensual, sexual, and/or aroused."

Speaking to the Daily Mail, data columnist Jana Hocking added that 'it's horrendously self-centred, slightly narcissistic, and probably a bit shameless to admit to'.

With that said, however, she admitted she was 'very much on board with it', adding: "It has had a whopping 60 million views on TikTok so clearly I'm not the only one lapping it up."

She continued: "The kink involves people who get off on hearing how wonderful they are (especially in the bedroom).

"So if you are like me and you go a bit wild when your fella calls you a 'good girl' while getting it on between the sheets... welcome, you are part of the 'praise kink' tribe.

"Other popular praises that people in this tribe like to hear include: 'You're doing such a great job', 'Your boobs look amazing from this angle', 'You're so good at that' and 'Baby, you feel amazing.'

"Okay, full disclosure... that's what I get off on, but others do too."

Who said you don't learn something new everyday - hey?
