The latest Barbie-mania hype follows people weighing in on their 'Ken's job' in a new trend and it's hilarious.
In case you've been living under a rock, you'll know that Greta Gerwig's eagerly-anticipated Mattel film released last month (21 July) has sent the world into a hot-pink frenzy with many now calling it one of their favourite movies to date.
While the flick is packed to the brim with a whole bunch of iconic one-liners and some pretty touching speeches too, there's one particular piece of dialogue that seems to have taken the internet by storm. Have a look:
It follows the Barbie Land gang hanging out for a wholesome day at the beach.

"Barbie has a great day every day," the narrator begins, "but Ken only has a great day if Barbie looks at him."
Ken, played by Ryan Gosling, later tells Barbie: "Shredding waves is much more dangerous than people realise," before Barbie, played by Margot Robbie, tells him he's 'very brave'.
This is where it gets good.
"Thank you, Barbie," he responds. "You know surfing is not even my job?"

The character continues: "And it is not lifeguard which is a common misconception. Yeah, because actually my job, it’s just Beach."
Yep - you read that right.
Not Lifeguard, not Swimmer, not even Surfer - Ken's official job title in the record-breaking movie is simply 'Beach'.

Fans seemed to love the idea so much that thousands upon thousands have since taken to TikTok to share exactly what their 'Ken's job' is and it's quite frankly hilarious.
The hashtag 'kensjob' has already gone viral after clocking up over 13.9 million views and counting.
Commonly posted alongside Gosling's 'I'm Just Ken' track, the videos are a tongue-in-cheek way of showing what someone's partners would be if they actually did live in Barbie Land.
Such one-word job titles include 'Screens', 'Muscles' and 'Fish'.
One TikTok user wrote: "Everyone is showing their Ken’s job. My Ken’s job is Computer. He loves his job and is proud of it. He came with his own textbook and backpack.

"I don’t exactly know what it is, but it keeps him busy and doesn’t annoy me for 8 hours every day."
Another posted: "My Ken’s job is Drive. He comes with his own car and keys. Sometimes he even wears sunglasses.
"He does drive because Barbie does not. Barbie can drive but does not want to even because that's what Ken is for."
Now, one thing he all need to keep in mind - whatever your Ken's job is, remember he is 'Kenough'.
