Anyone who has ever been through a breakup knows that it's difficult territory.
Do you just draw a line under your relationship and move on as strangers or do you enter into the complicated game of trying to stay friends? It's a minefield.
While break-ups can be difficult and incredibly painful, sometimes we must look to the positives and see what we can learn from the experience to make sure that our next romantic encounter will be more successful.

Well, that's the thought process of one genius woman who has decided to send out a survey to her former partner, whenever their relationship draws to an end. After all, you might as well find out where it all went well so you can try and avoid it in the future.
The survey doesn't discriminate either. It goes to those who engaged with serious relationships as well as casual daters.
The woman, who we only know as Katie, is absolutely brutal in her questioning, starting off by asking the man to identify what's wrong with her.

Following on from this, she asks "what's wrong with you?"
In fact, the questionnaire goes deeper even deeper, asking the exes to identify at what point they realised the relationship would never work and asked if anything she could've done to 'enhance the experience' for them.
But where things really get clever is when she asks if they would refer her to a friend and also asks for a list of potential suiters.
Genius or cheeky? Who cares because everyone knows that if you don't ask, you don't get.

Finally, she asks: "Would you like to remain on the mailing list in case Katie revisits your application or another opportunity opens up?"
This question offers multiple choice answers.
Katie's friend, Abby, then shared the hilarious survey on Twitter and I think we could all learn a thing or two.
