The Hunt Is On For The UK's Cutest Office Pet

The Hunt Is On For The UK's Cutest Office Pet

Over the last few year, office pets have become more of a 'normality'. Generally it seems to be with start-up companies and quirky businesses, but it seems that the benefits of having pets around is becoming more apparent.

Now, the team behind www.KitOutMyOffice.com is on the hunt to find the UK's cutest office pet.

They say: "Whether it's an office pet that looks cute and sleeps all day, likes to pretend to work, or has a unique skill, the office furniture suppliers are offering a £150 bar tab for after-work drinks and some Costa coffee gift cards to the workplaces with what their judges deem to be the cutest office pet in the UK.

"Britons who want to nominate an office pet need to submit an image of the animal (with the owner's permission) along with their name and their unofficial job role within the company. The competition is open for all types of office pets, ranging from dogs and cats to hamsters, birds, snakes and beyond."

You have until 11:59pm on Thursday 25th January to get your entries in.

Gareth Jones, Digital Marketing Manager, said: "Some of us have colleagues with pets who occasionally bring them into the office, and some are even fortunate enough to work in an office with a more permanent four-legged member of staff that is as much a part of the team as the next employee! We want to find the UK's cutest office pet and can't wait to see the pictures once the nominations start rolling in. This is going to be the most fun competition to judge, that's for sure."

You can submit your entry here.
