If you're someone who has to sniff and give their verdict on every candle in the supermarket when you go shopping you could do just that and get paid for it. Sounds great to me!

Fancy yourself as a fragrance tester? The luxury wax melt company Sassy Shop Wax are looking for a designated 'Fragrance Tester' to sniff out the best products for a £24k pro-rota salary and a year's worth of scents.

You'll get to smell a variety of luxurious scents (

The role will include smelling a variety of new wax melt scents that Sassy Shop Wax are introducing to their range each month, using a complimentary wax melt burner that they will send your way. And in true 2020 fashion you can do it all from the comfort of your own home!

The successful candidate will receive five newly scented wax melt bars to test and smell each month, for a total of 12 months and will give feedback on the wax melt, including how strong the scent is, how long it lasts and if it matches the name, to help perfect the scent.

You will also be able to make suggestions on how to improve the scents and suggest fun, fresh and exciting new scents that they can look to add to their ever-growing range.

So, what makes a good Fragrance Tester? If you are someone "who can tell what ingredients are in your meal, just by sniffing it," if you can "differentiate flavours in wine, before taking a sip" or if you can simply "spot a bad odour before it comes in close proximity" you could be the right person for the job.

Keely Parsons, founder of Sassy Shop Wax commented on the new role: "We think it's important to get our fragrances right so no customer is left disappointed and we are looking for someone with a good nose to make sure our future products are top notch!

"With most of us now working from home this is the perfect opportunity - you know it makes scents!"

The candidate will be paid a salary of £24k (

After launching Sassy Shop Wax back in 2017, young entrepreneur and founder, Keely Parsons soon realised she had to keep up with the growing demand for her affordable yet luxurious wax melt bars.

She has since gone from making the wax melt bars from her kitchen to now employing staff to work in her 800 square foot workshop and naturally the next step is finding the perfect fragrance tester to become part of the ever-growing Sassy Shop Wax team.

To enter you must fill out a submission form on their website Potential applicants have until Friday 13th November 2020 to apply.

No previous experience required - just a really good nose!
