Amazing Picture Of Female Milk Duct Muscle Structure Goes Viral

"Why is this the first time that I, a female, have ever seen the female muscle system?"

A diagram showing what a woman's milk ducts look like has gone viral, prompting thousands of people to question why we've never seen the female muscle system before.

In fact, some people were so baffled by the image, that at first glance, they thought the breasts had been censored by flowers, which really does show how appallingly unfamiliar so many of us are with our own bodies.

The image was shared by Twitter account @lemonadead, along with the caption "I just realised I never saw a photo of a female muscle system. This is NOT what I imagined milk ducts to look like."

Sharing the tweet, Gina Martin (aka the kickass campaigner who made upskirting illegal) pretty much summed up all of our emotions, writing: "At first I was like 'oh they've censored the nipples with flowers A**HOLES'

"Then I was like 'THAT IS WHAT MILK DUCTS LOOK LIKE?'

"Then came the crushing realisation: 'why is this the first time that I, a female, have ever seen the female muscle system?'"

Another Twitter user wrote: "At first I thought someone put flowers over boobs because art. Now, it looks like a weird alien creature lives inside my body and I'm terrified," which is pretty sad to say our bodies are so unfamiliar to us that they're "alien."

Others felt disappointed that they didn't learn about this when they were growing up, as one pointed out: "Like omg how interesting. So much stuff just clicked. I'm kinda irritated this wasn't something we learned in health class tbh". We feel ya'.

However, some women defended the muscular milk ducts, writing: "Why is everyone saying it's gross? We have literal flowers on our titties, that's so cool." A very good point, well made.

Petition to get this taught in schools, anyone?!
