The heartbroken dog owners of a terrier cross who's been missing for more than a year have had her portrait painted on dozens on pebbles in a bid to try and find her. Roxy was 14 when she ran away from her home on Christmas Eve 2017 and has been missing ever since.
She has been spotted in the area looking "very thing and dirty," so owners remain convinced she is still alive.
To keep Roxy in people's thoughts, her owner Jo Dalton from Nympsfield, Gloucestershire, has enlisted the services of local artist Andrea Anthony.

Andrea has since painted more than 20 pictures of the missing pooch on the pebbles and left them in spots where she goes walking.
She said: "I've been painting these since last November although another member of Team Roxy came up with the pebbles idea early last year.
"I have been placing them in places around Uley and Nympsfield, the areas where Roxy has mostly been sighted.

"I've put them where I know a lot of people should see them so hopefully they are found quickly and hidden again for others to find. I'm hoping they are raising people's awareness to the fact that Roxy is still missing and we are still out looking for her.
"I've never seen Roxy in the flesh but I've painted around 20 pebbles and hidden them where most walkers will spot them to make people aware she is still missing."
The family has tried various methods to track down their beloved pooch, including drones, tracker dogs and wildlife cameras.

A Facebook page set up to aid the search for Roxy has also attracted more than 2,500 members.
The most recent sighting of Roxy was in November last year, but Jo said she still has hope that Roxy could be found.
She added: "I know for many it may seem totally barmy that our 14-year-old deaf dog is still around but believe me, she is.

"Against all odds she is surviving and until we know otherwise, we won't give up."
