In perhaps the most bizarre video we've seen to date, a cat literally plummeted from the sky in China and landed straight on an unfortunate pensioner.
Yep, CCTV captured the moment that dog owner Gao Fenghua was knocked to the floor and rendered unconscious by the flying feline, in the city of Harbin in the north-eastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang.

After falling on Mr Fenghua, the cat dashed off - seemingly unscathed - and took shelter in a nearby doorway.

And the sweetest thing was his golden retriever rushed to his aid after the incident, cornering the hapless kitty after he worked out what happened, like some sort of bodyguard.
While the dog certainly put on a good show, it was quite clear he was never actually going to hurt the kitty.
Wearing protective footwear on its front two paws, it instead just harmlessly jumped around in front of the feline, which in return gave as good as it got, swinging a paw defiantly in his direction.
The cat is said to have belonged to Mr Fenghua's neighbour, who is called Mr. Yu, according to the victim's son, Gao Zhengzhong.

The two families are now reportedly working on a compensation agreement for the accident.
It is unclear whether they have involved the authorities.
Poor Mr Fenghua had to spend a whole 23 days in hospital after the cat fell on him on July 12th, and was only discharged this week.

He is currently undergoing physiotherapy treatment following the incident, and also had to wear a neck brace due to his injuries.

Millie the Jack Russell Terrier was rescued from the horrific blaze back in June by Jamie Trew, of the London Fire Brigade.
Millie's owner was treated on scene for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service crews and taken to hospital, but firefighters learned that Millie was still trapped inside the building.
Station officer Dean Ivil, who was at the scene, said: "When crews arrived there was a fully developed fire in the ground floor bedroom. They were met by a woman outside who told them that her dog was still inside the flat."
Firefighters then entered the building and carried out a thorough search, before finding a lifeless Millie under the bed.

After a short stay at the vets, Millie has now been fostered by lead firefighter Jamie Trew, who found her.
"It's a lovely ending for what could have been a tragic story and if her owner decides it's best, Millie has a forever home with Jamie and his family."
A happy ending indeed!
