In the first 12 weeks of 21-month-old Arthur Patel's life, he had to undergo two haircuts after he was born with a full head of thick hair that wouldn't stop growing.
While most babies are one before they get their mop cut for the first time, the toddler has already had eight haircuts as his hair continues to grow and grow.
Speaking about her little one, mum Anna Barnard admitted that the midwives, who helped deliver him, were surprised by his thick jet black hair and said people would stop her on the street to comment on his locks.

The 33-year-old teaching assistant said: "He was born with a full head of hair. 'When I was pushing for hours, all the midwives and doctors just kept telling me, 'We can see his hair!'
"I was more surprised on how other people reacted, like 'oh my God, look at his hair'- everyone at the hospital, the midwives, anyone I came across was like 'wow'."
She added: "It was then when I thought it's probably unusual. I took him to the hairdresser when he was only a few months old, maybe three or four.

"The hairdressers were so surprised- now he goes to the barbers that my husband goes too because he needs a proper haircut."
Anna added that the "hairy gene" appears to run in the family as the tot, who was born in September 2017, shares the same hair as his dad, Richard Patel, 34.
Despite visiting the barbers eight times, Anna said that Arthur still doesn't like his appointment but has found a trick in settling him with the help of Peppa Pig.
She added: "We know it's time to have his haircut when my mother-in-law puts a clip in his hair- it means it gets in his eyes.

"He doesn't really like going to the hairdresser- we've found that letting him watch Peppa Pig on my phone is the only thing that works, otherwise it's quite traumatic for him.
"His hair is quite hard to tame; we put gel and try to style it. It's getting to that point when it starts to go in his eyes and then goes really long at the back, like a mullet."
