The ringing in of September has brought with it some decidedly unpredictable weather.
While one day we're battling with chilly temps and pulling our big coats out of the closet, the next we're getting heatwaves with temperatures warm enough to rival mid-summer.
This weekend we had a taster of an Indian summer, as temperatures soared to 24 degrees in some parts of the country, and despite a chilly start to the week, we're in for more good weather.
According to the Met Office, the mercury could rise to 25 degrees this coming Saturday the 21st September.

Spokesperson Ollie Claydon told PRETTY52: "There's stable weather expected this week with much of it likely to be spent in bright blue sunshine with temperatures at 20 or maybe 21 in some parts to the south."
He adds: "Warmer air is moving up to the weekend and we might reach 25 in the south east on Saturday."
FYI, that's hotter than Barcelona who are only expecting highs of 24 this Saturday!
However, there will be some "uncertainty around the weekend" due to a "band of rain moving in from the west."

Depending on how fast it reaches the UK, some parts of the west could experience rain on Saturday while eastern parts will stay dry and bright.
However, the dry weather won't last as the same band of rain will soon hit the east of England bringing showers on Sunday.
So there you have it: another weekend of glorious weather to look forward to!
It makes a change from last week's weather news, when we found out another 'Beast from the East' is headed our way this winter.

Experts have warned that a fresh Beast could be back to freeze Britain this year, after the country was blitzed in late February and March in 2018 after cold air swept in from Russia.
We don't know whether we're coming or going!
