If you enjoy a bit of a scare fest in the lead up to Halloween you're in luck, because Fright Nights at Thorpe Park are back again for 2019 and will test your fear limits to the maximum.
All your darkest nightmares are set to be reawakened as you step into the park filled with actors playing zombies and all things terrifying.
Fright Nights kick off again this Saturday and will run on the following days: 28th - 29th September, 3rd - 6th October, 10th - 13th October, 17th - 31st October and 1st - 3rd November. So there are plenty of opportunities to participate in the Halloween theme park madness, which will set you back from £33 per person.

As usual, the regular rides at Thorpe Park will be running on Fright Night evenings, but the main attraction will by the live-action horror experiences.
But how much can you handle?
Brand new to the event this year is Creek Freak Massacre.

A deranged family of lumberjacks will be hanging out in the abandoned woods by the saw mill. Just make sure you tread carefully past them or you'll find yourself inhaling gasoline fumes or at the wrong end of a chainsaw.
Brace yourself for this gore-driven immersive experience that will get your blood pumping.
Just make sure you prepare for the worst and try to survive!
If you survive the lumberjacks, head next to the Screamplexx Cinema, you can sit back and...well not relax, because showing will be a terrifying array of short films and a few spooky surprises will be in store - it wouldn't be Fright Night without those.

Returning to the scene of last year's crime will be Platform 15, which is a one way ticket trek along an old overgrown railway line - sounds like the start of a horror movie scene...probably because it is.
For 2019 though, Platform 15 will have a brand new ending, so you'll be surprised even if you've been before.
The website says of the attraction: "Can you outrun what lies at the end of the line or will your journey terminate here, at Platform 15?"

It's not just Platform 15 where you'll be legging it.
The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare attraction is based on terrifying scenes from the franchise.
The maze will take you deep within the show, recreating scenes and you'll be left 'running for your life' from Lucille and the notorious Saviours.
It might be make believe, but we're sure it won't feel like it.
AMC's Walking Dead also has a second maze at Thorpe Park: Do or Die. Another live-action horror maze.

You'll first board a school bus that promises to take you to safety, helping you find refuge, but be warned, Thorpe Park has tipped us off that the local residents might not all be trustworthy.
The maze promises to have dark lurking in every corner and be "no ordinary zombie experience", so beware and hurry to find food before you become dinner yourself.
Sounds like surviving this one is going to be tough.
The 'fun' (if you're into being scared out of your wits) doesn't stop there. The Blair Witch attraction is another corker.
Head to the cursed Black Hills of Burkitsville to get reimbursed in this scary movie - it's been made scarier than ever for 2019.
But will you dare enter the woods after nightfall? Just remember to not look her in the eyes...
From there, if you're not scared enough yet, you can head to a showing of Terror At Amity High School where prom night may just see you join the army of the undead if you're not careful.
There's so much going on you might not have time for it all, but maybe you'll be so creeped out after a few attractions, you'll be eager to head towards the rides instead, they will be a walk in the park after all that. Plus, there won't be zombies on those, or will there?
