If there's anything to get excited about for the upcoming decade, it's the new multi-billion pound British theme park that's in the works.
The London Resort is being lauded the UK version of Disneyland, but better, and with the BBC, ITV Studios and Paramount Pictures being the brains behind it, we have no doubt it'll be incredible.
While the park is still in development, there's a lot to get excited about. We've been fed details about the size, location and attractions already, as well as artist interpretations of what it will look like. And just wow.

We don't have an exact date, but bosses have revealed that construction is planned to begin in 2021 and opening is set for 2024.

It may seem like a futuristic date, but a park of this size will take some time to build - and we guarantee it'll be worth the wait.
Where will it be based?
The park will be based in Swanscombe Peninsula near Dartford, Kent, which is just a 17 minute train from London St Pancras.

How big is it?
The enormous park will spread across a 535 acre site built on the and be made up of six 'islands'- more on that soon.
What do we know about the attractions?
Now for the fun stuff. 50 rides will be arranged around the 'islands' or 'zones' with names that sounds like something out of a comic strip. There's even a 2,000 seat theatre.

Visitors will enter the site through a grand plaza with a Las Vegas vibe, leading through to a high street containing shops, restaurants, hotels, convention centre and waterpark.
In The Studios - a collection of industrial warehouses - visitors can watch and get insight into their favourite big-screen blockbusters. A press release calls the area "a gritty, modern-day warehouse district that practically roars with the exhilarating thrills of big, blockbuster features".
Just north lies The Woods, where guests will step into an enchanted realm filled with the characters and landscapes of classic bedtime stories, fables and fairy tales.

Sorcery and legend combine in The Kingdom, with its swords and dragons. Here, England will be portrayed as 'a dark and ancient land, a place of threatening and imposing castles and mystical Arthurian legends'.
Venture north to find The Isles, a land of giant creatures and mythical beasts, where 'fantastic jaw dropping architecture will combine with magnificent rides and 21st century technology.'
After, thrillseekers can explore The Jungle, with its ancient ruins and long-lost Mesoamerican civilisation peeping through leafy tree tops.
"Here, an overgrown environment, brimming with ancient secrets, surprising discoveries and strange mystical artefacts will be transported to the present by inquisitive explorers - young and old," reads the press release.
Finally, park-goers will step into the 23rd Century at The Starport, where they'll glimpse at the future, encountering aliens and big thrill rides.
Enough to get you as excited as us? Thought so.
