Potterheads, we've got some HUGE news. A Harry Potter theme park is coming to Tokyo - and it sounds like it's going to be epic.
Set across 30,000 square meters, the amusement park is expected to be a Harry Potter wonderland, displaying film sets, costumes, and props used in the movies themselves.
According to reports, Seibu Railway Co has come to an agreement with Itochu Corp and Warner Bros Entertainment Inc, for the park to be developed on the Toshimaen site which is located in Tokyo's Nerima Ward.

Currently the space is home to a gigantic theme park, which opened in 1926. It is one of the biggest amusement parks in Tokyo and has over 30 rides and attractions.
Toshimaen is set to close on 31st August, after which it's expected plans will be put in place for the new Harry Potter world.
Of course, it's early days but the park is tipped to be opening early in 2023 - which actually isn't that far away, when you consider how long it takes to build such an epic attraction.
Ann Sarnoff, chairwoman and CEO of Warner Bros, said the park will offer "fans of all ages a unique way to get closer to the films". She also added that Warner Bros is "looking forward to creating something very special."

Brits will know there's already a similar Harry Potter attraction in London - Warner Bros Studio Tour - which opened in 2012.
In fact, following its closure during lockdown, the studio is reopening tomorrow (Thursday 20th August) and it's had a Slytherin makeover.
Guests will experience all things Slytherin, including magical props and iconic costumes. Visitors will also be able to explore the Slytherin common room for the first time ever.
As part of the studio's new feature, 'A Celebration of Slytherin', guests will enter through the Great Hall - which will also be decked out in Slytherin-themed decor - where they'll be met with hand-designed wall tapestries and Slytherin house banners draped from the ceiling.

Originally, the Slytherin makeover was due to be unveiled to the public on 3rd April, but due to coronavirus, the studio closed its doors during lockdown. The new tour has now been extended until 12th November 2020.
