Fancy staying in a 65-foot elephant?

We're all for crazy Airbnb stays, but this one takes the biscuit.

Lucy the Elephant, a 65-foot-tall attraction in Jersey Shore, is going to be available for booking on the home-sharing site.

The owners confirmed to Tyla that the unique New Jersey-based accommodation will go live for booking at 12pm on 5th March. But you'll have to be quick, we reckon there'll be a stampede to book.

Built 138 years ago (yes, she's older than the Eiffel Tower), Lucy has been a tourist attraction for years with visitors coming from far and wide to view her - let alone stay in her!

The National Historic Landmark has retained its original features, including decor from the Victorian era.

Climbing the 25 steps to the belly, you'll be greeted by a grand bed, antique trunk, old sculptures, and stunning flower arrangements.

And if you stay, you'll be in good company: Lucy's even hosted former United States President Woodrow Wilson.

As for local attractions, Lucy is located in the heart of Jersey Shore and just five miles from Atlantic City, where you can check out the best local eateries, casinos and beaches.

Or if you'd prefer to stay in your elephant (a sentence we never thought we'd write), the room is packed with fun things to do such as board games, while it also promises to have a stocked bar.

And if you prefer your Airbnbs a little closer to home, how about a blimp-inspired insulated aluminium pod?

Located in Drimnin on the west coast of Scotland, this unique getaway in the remote Highlands will be unlike no other, as guests can gaze up at the stars and out to the Sound of Mull from the pod's dragonfly windows.

You can now book it on Airbnb.
