Adorable Giant Tabby Cat Breaks The Internet Looking For Forever Home

Cat lovers, prepare yourselves, because we're about to present to you the cutest kitty known to man.

Introducing Beejay: perhaps the biggest and cuddliest tabby we've ever clapped eyes on.

Weighing in at 26lb the brown tabby and white domestic shorthair accidentally broke the internet when an appeal went out to find him a forever home.

Currently living at Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia, US, the two year old is literally the size of a small child.

Affectionately describing the giant feline as a "chonk" the refuge centre shared pictures of him on their Twitter account, in a post that soon went viral.

"OMG, big boi Mr. B is a CHONK. He's a chonk of a chonk. He redefines the term," they wrote.

Before adding: "Can you guess how much he weighs? More importantly, can you give him a home? Adopt this jumbo-sized package of fluff & love."

And the post was swiftly shared far and wide, with fans in the UK even rushing to offer their homes.

Of course, there were some cruel comments that simply mocked the kitty's bigger build.

"That's not a feline, it's a kindergartner in a cat costume," one Twitter user joked.

While another added: "Morris animal refuge would like you to adopt this horse".

So mean!

Despite cruel jibes, Mr B can now class himself as a minor celebrity, with almost 11,000 retweets on the post, and 36,000 'likes'.

And if you want to adopt him, you'd better act quickly, as the sanctuary's website crashed due to such a high demand.

12 hours after the tweet they put a message out reading: "Mr. B. apologizes for crashing our website. We have our team working to get it back up as we speak. Unfortunately, they're all cats, so it may take a little while."

It's looking like this chonk is going to get snapped up imminently, so why not also take a look at the other cuties the sanctuary are hoping to re-home?

You can also visit the RSPCA or a UK refuge if you don't fancy jetting across the globe.
