Superdrug Is Selling Edible Gummy Bears That Help You Tan
The length girls go to for that golden glow involves some serious dedication. Spray tans and regular fake tanning... it's safe to say that it requires a lot of time and effort, but one company is planning to change the way you tan.
Earlier this month, Superdrug started stocking Tan Gummies. No, it's not a new sweet treat but actually a new supplement to help you tan.
Tan Gummies claims to have invented the first ever edible tanning supplement in the shape of gummy bears.
They claim to "accelerate and enhance the perfect bronze tone to pale skins, with and without the sun."
Company UTAN & Tone developed the sweet-like edibles and they recommend taking two gummies per day.
You either suck on the food supplement until dissolved or chew them thoroughly before swallowing. Users are advised to do this two to three weeks prior to hitting the sun for the best results.
Even if you're not going somewhere sunny the company recommend to carry on taking the bears for roughly three to four weeks, or until you've reached your desired golden glow.
Once you're at the right shade, you need to reduce the amount you take to one or two per day to maintain your sun-kissed look.
Tan gummies claim to get a bronzed effect "from the inside out", using vitamins, minerals and plant nutrients.
They allow potent actives to be held in the buccal cavity which is the portion of the oral cavity bounded by the lips, cheeks and gum for a considerable time, resulting in "direct absorption" through the membranes in the cheek walls.
They come in a raspberry flavour and are gluten-free and vegan-friendly. You can pick up a jar of 60 tan-tastic gummy beats for £18.
