A woman has come up with a genius hack for protecting her false lashes in the shower, by using her PPE face shield as a waterproof cover.
Seriously, beauty tips don't get much more 2020 than this!
Ella Lowey, who works as a carer, paid £32 for a set of long, fluttery lashes on Saturday and was advised not to get them wet for 48 hours.
But when the 19-year-old needed to jump in the shower ahead of her spa weekend and couldn't find her pair of goggles, she worried she'd have to take the risk.
Cue the lightbulb moment when Ella decided to trial her face shield from work in a whole new way - and was amazed with the results.
Now Ella has shared her game-changing discovery with her pals, and admits she couldn't stop laughing at her cunning trick.

Ella, from Wirral, Merseyside, said: "When it worked - I was just laughing. I thought 'oh my gosh, this is the funniest thing I've ever done'.
"People that have seen it have said 'what a life hack'. It's like a COVID-19 beauty hack. I can wash my hair now perfectly without getting my lashes wet at all.
"[The visor] just stuck underneath the back of my head. I've saved my lashes and hopefully they'll last a bit longer.
"I hope I've inspired others to do the same."
After securing the plastic straps behind her head, Ella was ready to go. Despite the shield steaming up, she was able to wash her hair perfectly without any water trickling down to interfere with her new lashes.
Ella said: "It's caught on now. There are people from salons in Belfast [commenting on it].
"I'd literally just got my lashes done and you're not meant to get them wet for 48 hours. I didn't want to just waste them by jumping in the shower and getting them wet. Lashes are really expensive.
"I couldn't find any goggles anywhere so I thought 'I've got a face shield from work there'. I stuck it on and it worked. It just steamed up - that was all.
"My friends were laughing their heads off."
