Sometimes it can be hard to find the motivation to exercise, especially when it's the festive season and all we want to do is indulge in our favourite Christmas foods, re-watch Elf a dozen times and play Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' on repeat.

That is why a festive themed workout sounds so exciting!

Created by Emily Thorne, a Canfitpro-certified personal trainer and fitness YouTuber, this HIIT workout, the aptly titled "12 Days of HIITmas" features the most Christmassy hits.

You can check "Holiday Classics" out below:

Each work out is around 20-25 minutes and starts with a warm-up, set to a festive tune of course, which then leads into the workout included a couple of HIIT moves.

If your playlist is now full of festive songs, this could be the workout for you.

The workout starts with a warmup to Michael Bublé's version of 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) and then you'll move onto other classic jingles, from 'Feliz Navidad' to 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'.

Ariana Grande's Santa Tell Me is one of the classics included in the workout (pictured in the thank u, next video) (

What better way to embrace the Yuletide season and stay fit... at the same time?!

In even better news, this is just the first instalment. You may have already guessed it but there will be 12 Christmas themed workouts for you to enjoy and try at home.

The second video in the "12 Days of HIITmas" series is called "Christmas Pop HIIT workout". Emkfit, Emma Thorne's YouTube channel's name, has decked the halls with some more recent Christmas classics.

Some of the biggest pop divas are part of this workout. The warm up is set to Ariana Grande's 'Santa Tell Me', then you'll have a lovely dose of nostalgia thanks to 'My Only Wish (This Year) by Britney Spears. Last but not least, 'Underneath the Tree' by Kelly Clarkson and 'Christmas Wrapping' sung by Kylie Minogue are also in the mix. There's a lot of fun to be had.

Emily also has several High School Musical and Disney Channel-themed HIIT workouts if you're feeling nostalgic (

Did we mention the Disney Channel Christmas workout?! Where else would you be able to hear Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus and The Cheetah Girls back to back?!

Speaking of the Disney Channel, Emily is clearly a huge fan because she also released a High School Musical HIIT workout last month. In fact, she has heaps of different High School Musical workouts, with music from all three movies.
