People Are Using Ikea Doll Beds For Their Pets And We Can't Cope

Time for your pup or moggy to bunk up.

In the cutest news we've heard in ages, people have been buying doll beds from IKEA and using them for their pets.

The dinky wooden beds, designed to store dolls and soft toys, are the perfect size for a moggy or small doggo - and the photographic evidence is, frankly, too much.

For starters, just take a look at this snap of two ginger kitties cosying up for bedtime...

Or how about these puppers, who are such good friends that they're happy to bunk up together?

We can't cope.

Enjoying the mental image of settling down for a Netflix binge and warming bedtime drink while your furry companions get cosy in their pet-size beds?

Same.

The tiny bunks, christened the DUKTIG, cost just £13 from IKEA. Designed for dolls and soft toys, they're crafted from pine, and come with an adorable colourful linen bed set.

Unfortunately, the beds have proved so popular that, at the time of writing, they've sold out - but fret not, we've found plenty of alternatives.

For the princess-like pooch or kitty in your life, how about a pink-themed Chad Valley Babies to Love Wooden Doll's Bunkbed with cut out hearts, retailing for £20 from Argos?

The wooden design comes with candy coloured pillows and two quilts - and, while it's designed for dolls, it would work just as well for a pet sleepover.

Plus, the beauty of this design is that you can set it up as a double bunk, or twin beds. So if your pets prefer to socially distance while they catch some Zzz, they can!

Measurements for the Chad Valley Babies to Love Wooden Doll's Bunkbed come in at 45.5 x 27.4 x 50cm.

It's also possible to snap up IKEA's doll bed design from retailers on Amazon and eBay, but the prices are higher than the original, ranging between £24 to £59.

The measurements of IKEA's DUKTIG bed are 49.3 x 37.1 x 5.1cm.

Just think how cute your doggo or moggy will look all snuggled up.
