Following her recent resignation from This Morning, rumours have been swirling about who could replace Holly Willoughby as the show's presenter.
Holly sent shockwaves through the nation when she announced her departure from the show earlier this month (11 October).
The 42-year-old star broke the news in an Instagram statement, revealing: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.

"To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much," she continued. "This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together.
"Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you."
Holly went on: "It's been an honour to just be part of it's story and I know this story has many chapters left to go. Sadly, however, I now feel I have to make this decision for me and my family. I will miss you all so much."
This Morning has since been fronted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who addressed the presenter's departure in an emotional message.

However, there has been some speculation on who could possibly be set to replace Holly.
Amongst those who are said to have had their names thrown into the ring so far are Hammond, Josie Gibson and Steph McGovern.
Today, however, (24 October), Channel 5 presenter Storm Huntley has been raised as a possibility.

The 36-year-old Scottish television host is best known for answering viewers' calls on morning talk show Jeremy Vine.
And, like Holly, Storm began her on-screen journey on children's TV, making her TV debut on the seasonal CBeebies show, Down on the Farm.
PR expert, Nick Ede, told The Sun that ITV bosses should be considering Storm for the hosting gig, with the presenter already having accumulated a 'loyal fan base'.
He explained: "From being a woman who takes the phone calls she’s earned her stripes when it comes to broadcasting, doing hundreds of hours of live TV.
"One of the most important things for a This Morning presenter is the ability to go from serious items to the fun and trivial or even a segment about Christmas gifting and Storm has shown she can handle most situations."

Nick added, however, that though a potential move to ITV could be deemed as 'left-field' because 'we don’t know much about Storm'.
ITV have also not officially confirmed anything but it appears that Storm has addressed the rumours, taking to her Instagram to say: "Very flattering but I think there may be a scheduling issue there."
