Celebrity Big Brother viewers shocked after discovering Corrie star Colson Smith’s real age

I'm sure many of cosied up on our sofas ready to tune into this year's Celebrity Big Brother finally hitting our screens again since it last aired back in 2018.

Now, while many ITV viewers have already shared their thoughts on Louis Walsh making a huge blunder live on TV right before he entered the Big Brother house, Gary Goldsmith's controversial appearance and the hilariously awkward fan moment during the live show - there's now a new thing that's caught the attention of fans all over.

Namely, after discovering Coronation Street star Colson Smith’s real age.

Now, Colson is best known for playing Craig Tinker on the beloved soap but it seems what's less known about him is how many years he's got under his belt.

The actor joined Corrie a whole 13 years ago and has since undergone a major transformation after losing a whopping 10 stone.

"I was always the fat kid," he said while speaking about his weight loss. "In most of my social situations, social circles, that's just who I was.

"And it's kind of the identity that I ended up with. I made that conscious decision. I was ready to kind of change that identity and I was ready to move on from it."

He continued: "I guess the main thing I've learned is who Colson is, I've learned to like myself and I've learned to trust myself.

"I've learned to believe in myself and I'm now really enjoying life. And it's changed my entire outlook and I say a lot of that is down to running and the routine and being healthy.

"My routine (before) was very difficult as I kind of left my parents at 17 to live in Manchester, which was away from home. And when everyone else was at uni, I'm sat on bloody Deliveroo every night."

Since entering the BB house, fans were shocked to find out that Colson is 25 years old - something many viewers couldn't believe.

One X, formerly Twitter user, penned: "I cannot believe that boy is 25."

A second wrote: "He is not 25? This is that darts kid all over again."

"I would not think he is actually 25," commented a third while a fourth chimed in: "It actually blows my mind that Colson Smith is ONLY 25."

A final Twitter user echoed: "Colton is 25?! TWENTY FIVE?????"

Celebrity Big Brother will be airing on ITV1 and ITVX tonight at 9.00pm.
