The Full Trailer For Queen Biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Has Landed And It Looks Epic

The new trailer for Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has dropped, promising us that 'more extraordinary than their music is his story' - referring, of course, to late lead singer Freddie Mercury.

Launching into the epic song from which the film takes its name, the trailer transports us to the early intimate gigs of Mercury's career, before moving on to dramas and huge stadium shows set to other classics like 'Another One Bites The Dust' and 'We Are The Champions'.

Starring Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech and Mike Myers, the film traces the rise of the band's success while also tackling the band members' personal demons.

The movie, which is released on 2 November, is described in its synopsis as a 'foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury', who defied many stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the hugest stars and most beloved entertainers the world has seen.

The blurb continues: "The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career.

"Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid. While bravely facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. Queen cements a legacy that continues to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day."

Fans on Twitter are already sold on the film, with one commenting: "Yep, it's official. My replay button is going to break soon because of this trailer."

Another suggested: "Already best 2018 movie."

Someone else said they were 'tearing up' just 30 seconds in.

If the trailer is anything to go by, the film looks like an inspirational and rousing ode to Mercury and his former Queen bandmates.

It also seems like we'll be getting some of that famous Freddie Mercury humour, with one moment from the trailer showing drummer Roger Taylor yelling angrily: "How many more 'Galileos' do you want?" - to which Mercury replies: "Roger, there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen."

We can't wait.
