What Sophie Turner allegedly said on security camera that ended marriage to Joe Jonas

What Sophie Turner allegedly said on security camera that ended marriage to Joe Jonas

Comments made by Sophie Turner on a Ring Security Camera were reportedly a linchpin in Joe Jonas' decision to file for divorce

Comments allegedly made by Sophie Turner about her estranged husband Joe Jonas were the 'final straw' that led to their divorce.

The two celebrities wed in 2019, but at the beginning of the month announced the sad news that they were ending their marriage after four years.

They share two children; Willa, three, and a one-year-old daughter who has recently been revealed to be called Delphine.

It was Jonas who filed for divorce from his wife of four years and cited their relationship as 'irretrievably broken'.

The 34-year-old filed proceedings in Florida, and in the documents claimed that the pair's young daughters have been mainly living with him of late.

Despite this, his application for divorce says 'it is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility'.

Turner has since sued her estranged husband for 'wrongful retention' of their daughters in New York.

As to what sparked Jonas to end their marriage, apparently he and 27-year-old Turner had an argument on his birthday last month.

And now it's been revealed that some comments the Game Of Thrones actress made about Jonas on security camera footage about him was the 'final straw'.

According to reports, Turner was heard saying something disparaging to a friend about her husband.

Exactly what was said remains unclear, however.

Turner hasn't issued any statements since confirming that she and Jonas were ending their marriage, whereas Jonas' representative shared a lengthy statement on behalf of the star in the wake of his estranged wife filing a lawsuit against him.

Part of it read: "The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago.

“Joe and Sophie had a cordial meeting this past Sunday (17 September) in New York, when Sophie came to New York to be with the kids. They have been with her since that meeting. Joe’s impression of the meeting was that they had reached an understanding that they would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup.

“Less than 24 hours later, Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK. Thereafter, she demanded via this filing that Joe hand over the children’s passports so that she could take them out of the country immediately. If he complies, Joe will be in violation of the Florida Court order."

Elsewhere they denied that Turner was blindsided by his divorce filings, and said that she was 'aware' of Jonas' intentions.
