Fans fear for Kate Beckinsale’s health as she posts selfies from hospital bed

The actress has posted a series of worrying selfies in hospital, sparking health concerns among fans

Kate Beckinsale has her many fans worried for her health after she shared a series of photos in a hospital bed.

The critically acclaimed actress, who is known for her iconic performances in films such as Click, Serendipity and Van Helsing, has been open about her struggles in the past.

Back in 2019, she was hospitalised due to a ruptured Ovarian cyst.

Kate shared earlier this week that she had landed back in hospital when sharing a Mother’s Day post on Instagram.

She thanked her mum for ‘turning up’ when she is sick, sending balloons, checking in on her and pulling her ‘out of wells with love’.

Kate’s post included a series of tearful photos as she lay looking unwell in a hospital bed.

Kate’s health issue is unknown, but sadly it doesn’t seem to have improved by the looks of her latest Instagram story updates.

She shared that she has been visited by some fluffy friends, which Kate called ‘special visitors’.

It is well known that Kate is an animal lover.

They included a Pomeranian puppy and a long-haired cat.

It is well known that Kate is an animal lover, as she previously shared her devastation over the loss of her cat, Clive, in June last year.

She shared a photo to commemorate him and wrote alongside: “ Every single part of my house feels like he should be in it. If anyone is expecting to hear from me, you may not for a bit and I’m sorry. My heart is absolutely and totally broken.”

Aside from Kate’s own personal health struggles and the loss of Clive, she has more recently been grieving the loss of her stepdad, Roy – who she clearly loved very much.

She shared a series of photographs of him to her Instagram profile and captioned them: “I have no words yet. I fought for you with everything I had. Oh Roy I am so sorry I lost”.

Kate has updated her Instagram bio to reflect her loss, with it now reading: “A fatherless girl thinks all things possible and nothing safe." Kate has attributed this quote to “Mary Sarton c/o Gloria Vanderbilt.”

Hopefully, fans will get the update they’re hoping for soon and Kate will make a full recovery.

We hope she’s surrounded by the love of more fluffy friends, too!
