Paris Jackson Cleans Graffiti From Michael Jackson's Walk Of Fame Star

Paris Jackson has shared photos of herself cleaning her father's Walk of Fame star after it was defaced by graffiti, saying that 'some people have no f*cking respect'.

Michael Jackson, who was awarded his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame way back in 1984, may be one of the biggest names in music history, but it seems even that doesn't stop the trolls.

Paris, who lost her dad back in 2009, clearly took this to heart, not only turning up with cleaning supplies to scrub away at the red spray paint, but also condemn what had happened on social media.

"Some people have no f*cking respect," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

"I understand that there is a difference between the radio emblem and the record, but a name is a name."

Many of her Instagram followers were quick to back young Jackson, with one writing: "People like this have no class, but you are a true class act."

Another commented: "This makes me sick to my stomach. I'm so sorry Paris."

Many others even said that they would have happily helped her clean it - including Diplo, who wrote : "I would do it for you"

Paris replied: "Thanks sugart*ts."

In a second photo, Paris revealed that she'd managed to get the star looking squeaky clean once again.

According to the Daily Mail, it turns out she was actually cleaning the star of another Michael Jackson - not her dad's - as there's also a British-American radio commentator with the same name.

If you look at her father's star, it has a different symbol underneath his name:

Ah well, the thought was there... and at least that Michael Jackson's star is clear of graffiti now.

It's not the first time Paris has had to defend her late father, either. Last year, she complained about the portrayal of Michael Jackson in a Sky programme and managed to get the show banned.

Sky had announced that the show, Urban Myths, would feature Joseph Fiennes as the late Michael Jackson in a story that also involved Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando.

"I'm so incredibly offended by it, as I'm sure plenty of people are as well, and it honestly makes me want to vomit," Paris wrote in a tweet.

"It angers me to see how obviously intentional it was for them to be this insulting, not just towards my father, but my godmother Liz as well.

"Where is the respect? They worked through blood sweat and tears for ages to create such profound and remarkable legacies. Shameful portrayal."

Sky then announced that it will be scrapping its Jackson episode entirely after more than 20,000 people signed a petition protesting the show.

In a statement, Sky said: "We have taken the decision not to broadcast Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon, a half hour episode from the Sky Arts Urban Myths series, in light of the concerns expressed by Michael Jackson's immediate family.

"We set out to take a light-hearted look at reportedly true events and never intended to cause any offence. Joseph Fiennes fully supports our decision."
