*This article contains spoilers from You season two*
It's a week since You season two dropped on Netflix, and if you're anything like us you will have already binge-watched the whole thing.
But if that's the case and you're not ready to say goodbye to Joe Goldberg yet ahead of the long wait for a potential third season, then why not indulge your obsession by reading this seriously convincing fan theory?

Taking to social media after watching the dramatic fallout of season two, one fan of the Netflix hit pointed out a strange link between the two main characters and DC Comic stars, The Joker and Harley Quinn.
And honestly, we totally buy it.
You'll remember that at the end of the second season, a dramatic twist saw Love show her alliance to Will (aka Joe) by killing his ex Candace - who had set out to expose his murderous ways.

Candace was desperate to protect Love from Joe's clutches, and stopped at nothing to bring the truth to light. But when faced with the evidence she'd tried desperately to ignore, Love showed her own glimmer of evil by brutally murdering Candace, leaving everyone - including Joe - completely gobsmacked.
After watching the scenes, one viewer suggested that the fact both characters were dangerous killers surely isn't a coincidence.
They went on to claim that the show's creators Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble must have been inspired by the Batman and Suicide Squad characters' toxic love for each other, which ultimately spurred on their evil ways.

"Ok here us out @YouNetflix #YOUNetlix," they wrote. "Joe (Joker), Love Quinn (Harley Quinn ) Word play on names.
"Character storylines
Two toxic psychopath in love with each other .
What y'all think? We need confirmation".
And they weren't the only one to make the comparison, with another writing: "Okay but Joe and love literally Harley Quinn and tht joker (sic).
"I'm a little mad that Joe is freaked out by Love when she tells all to Joe. He spends all season trying to change then acts like that #YouNetflix".

A third added: "Finding out that love is just as toxic if not MORE toxic as joe was the biggest plot twist, ugh real life Harley Quinn and joker #YouNetflix".
"Love Quinn... Harley Quinn. Coincidence? I think not," while a fourth joined many in echoing.
Comic book fans will know that at first, much like Love, Harley Quinn was completely devoted to the Joker, despite his psychotic behaviour.
He also frequently failed to give Harley attention and mistreated her despite her passionate love (throwback to Joe turning his attention to his neighbour at the end of season two).
While we don't yet know for sure if we're getting a second season, it will be interesting to see how Joe and Love's toxic relationship progresses if we do get one.
Like Harley Quinn, perhaps Love could end up becoming a villain in her own right, and even getting her own spin-off?
If the theories are true, the possibilities really are endless...
