We're excited to receive another helping of Tracy Beaker with the new three-part series dropping on CBBC over the weekend - but it seems everyone's favourite gobby little kid may have had one huge secret.

Yep, after leaving The Dumping Ground, it would appear bossy-boots Beaker may have nipped into Hogwarts for a brief spell.

Don't believe us? See for yourself.

Well, if anyone was going to give Voldemort what for, it was going to be Tracy, wasn't it?

One fan spotted Dani Harmer, the actress who played Tracy Beaker in the 2002 TV series, as an extra during a crowd scene in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

When Albus Dumbledore announces a series of extra house points awarded to Gryffindor due to Harry, Ron and Hermione's valiant efforts to defeat Lord Voldemort, a young and fresh-faced Dani can be spotted sat next to Quidditch captain Oliver Wood (played by Sean Biggerstaff).

We always knew Tracy would be in Gryffindor!

After Twitter user by the handle @MemPatone posted the clip on Twitter, Dani herself confirmed the news by retweeting the original video and writing: "Yep, there I am!" followed by a cry-laughing emoji.

Fans were left flummoxed by the revelation, with many expressing their shock and awe on social media.

"Imagine swapping the lives of Harry Potter and Tracy Beaker, I think Beaker would have handled the Dursleys and Potter would've preferred the dumping ground," one commented.

Another wrote: "This BLOWS my mind," while a third chipped in: "Tracy getting roles in movies before her mum."

In another fascinating bit of Tracy Beaker trivia, Luke Youngblood, who played Ben in the Beaker TV series, also starred in the first two Harry Potter friend as the Weasley twins' best pal, Lee Jordan.

Hogwarts aside, we're now feeling super old as Tracy Beaker is all grown up and with a daughter of her own in brand new three-part drama, My Mum Tracy Beaker.

The series will see Tracy come face-to-face with old Dumping Ground rival Justine Littlewood, as she starts to date one of her old friends.

Well, you know what we're going to be watching this weekend!
