Joe Exotic has allegedly penned a chilling letter to his fans from prison, saying he thinks he'll "be dead in 2-3 months" unless he is granted release.

The Tiger King star is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for his involvement in a murder-for-hire plot against his long-time rival, Big Cat Rescue founder Carole Baskin, along with a string of animal cruelty charges which include violating the Endangered Species Act.

Obtained by TMZ, the former zoo keeper's letter is addressed to "supporters, fans, and loved ones" and calls on US President Donald Trump to grant him the miracle of freedom.

Opening by saying that he "would like to be my own voice for a change", Joe goes on to write that the coronavirus pandemic "is over" and that he would like President Trump to "keep to his word" by looking into his case.

Fans have grown concerned over the Netflix star's declaration: "my soul is dead, I struggle every day to hold on to what little hope I can find" and descriptions of himself as "a person screaming for help".

The former big cat owner writes that the miserable living conditions behind bars are "hell on earth" and comparable with "being sent to death row".

Joe reveals that he is tormented by news and pictures of his husband Dillon Passage as he moves on with his life and attends social gatherings.

Claiming that he no longer hears from Dillon, the Netflix star says: "I don't even know if I'm married anymore, seems everyone is so busy making money and being famous I don't even get a letter from Dillon."

Joe also describes his medical treatment in prison, saying that he needs blood transfusions every four weeks because of his medical condition, but claiming that he hasn't had one since January.

"I'm losing weight, sores won't heal, I'll be dead in 2-3 months," he writes.

The documentary subject goes on to slam anyone making profits from Tiger King, saying that they are "riding the white horse of fame" at his expense, and that they should be "ashamed".

Elsewhere, the cat fanatic makes entirely inappropriate links to the tragic killing of George Floyd by white police officer Derek Chauvin last month, saying that George's "message was lost in the rioting", while his own message was "abandoned for money and fame".

He finishes by calling on A-listers including Cardi B and Kim Kardashian to help his cause.
