If one hour a night is just not enough Love Island for you, we've got the perfect news: a Love Island USA is coming to our screens, and it starts this week.

Premiering on Tuesday 9th July on CBS, the show will follow the much-loved format of the Love Island we all know and love, and will be hosted by American actress Arielle Vandenberg.

The show's official Instagram page has already revealed the new line-up of contestants, and has also been introducing the US audience to phrases like "got a text" and "recoupling" so that they know what's in store.

The trailer reveals which singles will be entering the villa, which in the US version, is on the gorgeous island of Fiji instead of in sunny Mallorca. Jealous, us?

The gorgeous singles are a variety of ages and ethnicities, and come from all over the USA. The show will air from Monday to Friday, but there won't be a show on Saturday or Sunday nights.

ITV America chief creative officer and executive producer David Eilenberg told the Hollywood Reporter that "sincerity of intent" was the most important attribute when casting the show.

"No matter what other attributes somebody has, they have to have some degree of really wanting love, a connection, an adventure and something that can be transformational for their lives," he said. "Once you see that the person is in it for the reasons that drive the show, then you're interested in the diversity of characters, their backgrounds and viewpoints."

If you can't wait to get hooked on the transatlantic version of your favourite dating show, rest assured that each episode will also be screened on reality TV channel ITVBe.

Love Island continues tonight in the UK on ITV2. Love Island USA will premiere on 9th July on CBS.
