Fans of Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's new Netflix comedy Murder Mystery have noticed a Happy Gilmore Easter egg hidden in one scene.
Over 30 million of us streamed the movie in its opening weekend (the biggest ever for a Netflix film), so it should come as no surprise that viewers are picking up on hidden references within Murder Mystery and one of Sandler's 1996 comedy.
In the 1996 golfing movie, Carl Weathers' character, Chubbs, used a fake hand after he lost his in a fight with an alligator, which he managed to take the eye of in return.

And in Murder Mystery, there's another character with a fake hand, Colonel Ulenga (played by John Kani), who lost one of his eyes during a past accident with a bomb.
So, Ulenga has both Chubbs' and the alligator's injuries from Happy Gilmore, although he has a fake left hand rather than a right one like Chubbs.
"The homage to Chubbs hit me in my heart," enthused one, while another tweeted: "They brought back Chubbs' Hand in Murder Mystery on #Netflix."

There's another reference in there too for Happy Gilmore fans when Adam and Jennifer's characters, Nick and Audrey, almost fall to their death. The couple, who are on a holiday to reignite the spark in their relationship, climb past Colonel Ulenga's window to escape him.
Back in Happy Gilmore, Chubbs dies after stumbling out of a window after Adam gave him a fright with the head of the alligator which chomped off his hand. Coincidence? We think not.
Earlier this week, Netflix tweeted to share viewing figures for Murder Mystery.
"30,869,863 accounts watched Murder Mystery in its first 3 days - the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix Film. 13,374,914 accounts in the US and Canada, and 17,494,949 more worldwide," the streaming giant shared on Tuesday.
Despite the huge viewing figures and rave reviews from fans, critics haven't been so complimentary.

As it stands, the flick is only rated at 45 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.
