The penultimate episode of Game of Thrones saw Daenerys Targaryen wreak havoc over King's Landing, killing thousands of innocents despite their surrender. It was a savage move, and has left many viewers wondering if she'll be the least bit remorseful about it Sunday night's finale.
Well, we think we've found a massive clue about Dany's mental state post-battle - and it's all to do with her braids.
This week, HBO dished up two teaser photos from the finale episode, and one showed the back of Queen Dany, looking over her army as King's Landing smoulders in the background. In the photo (see above), her braids are looking perhaps the most elaborate and intricate we've seen in the show.

Now, we now that the amount of braids someone has in GoT indicates how many victories they've had.
This was made clear back in series one, when Dany's evil brother Viserys berated her for acclimatising to Dothraki culture. When he says to Dany that she'll want to braid his hair next, she claps back: "You've no right to a braid, you've won no victories yet!"

Clearly the mother of Dragons uses her hairstyle to communicate the victories she has amassed and the wars she has won.
This can explain why Dany rocked an innocent braidless look back in series one, and started rocking increasingly more intricate braidwork ever since. (Shout out to Missandei, RIP, and her badass braiding skills.)
So now, flash-forward to season eight episode six and Dany's rocking more braids than ever. Which suggests rather than feel shame and horror at what she's done she feels...pride?

Yes, she won the battle, but does showing it off in her hairstyle prove she's proud of it? It looks like it, in fact at this stage we're sad to say we don't believe Dany has any remorse for her act at all.
She's just killed thousands of innocent people, does she really need to brag about it in her hair-do? Could her hair imply she's totally remorseless?!
C'mon Dany, too soon.
