Want to feel old? Emma Geller from Friends - or the twins who played her - are now all grown up, and they've been cast in Jordan Peele's new horror movie Us.

The I Like Big Butts-loving baby you saw on Friends was actually portrayed by twins, Cali and Noelle Sheldon.

Those twins are now 16 (how!?) and have been cast in terrifying new movie Us.

Cali and Noelle play Becca and Lindsay, the onscreen daughters to Elisabeth Moss's character, Kitty Tyler.

Cali announced the news on her Instagram page, sharing a screenshot of an article detailing the cast. Alongside the photo, she wrote: "So excited to announce that @noelle.sheldon and I have been cast in the next @jordanpeele movie Us! So thankful for this opportunity and excited to work with such amazing actors and @jordanpeele !"

The twins have previously spoken out about what it was like to be part of such an iconic sitcom, with Noelle saying: "A lot of people in our school watch it, and most of them know we were in it, so they think that's pretty cool."

Their mum, Gretchen Sheldon, also revealed that the set was just as lovely a place as we imagined it to be, saying: ""Everyone was really, really nice to Noelle and Cali, and treated them like little princesses on the set.

"Friends filmed before a live audience, and Cali and Noelle would come out, and they would be waving and engaging with the live audience. It was a lot of fun."

Although it's obvious and not that mind-blowing that people grow older as the years pass, we still find it pretty crazy that the baby that we regularly see on Netflix binges is not only played by two people, but is also nearly 17 years old.

A few months ago, Twitter was buzzing after one blogger tweeted: "Ok so I was watching Friends last night and Ross was filming a tape for Emma's 18th birthday and Chandler says the line "Hi Emma. It's 2020. Have you woken up from your nap yet?" And it's just dawned on me that 2020 is NEXT YEAR. Emma would be 18 NEXT YEAR." The post was followed up by a series of excellent Friends-related GIFs, and, of course, much incredulity.

Yep, we've never felt this old.
