Last night proved that anything can happen on Love Island as Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard, the villa's day one couple, split, leaving Amy heartbroken.
But the biggest shock of the episode came in the last few seconds which showed that Curtis may have caught the attention of another unlikely Islander... Maura Higgins.
A teaser for tonight's episode showed the 28-year-old ring girl chatting with her villa BFF Lucie Donlan.

"He's obviously gorgeous, his smile is like, f*cking hell, and you know, he's just very manly, and I love that," she said, before it was revealed she was talking about the 23-year-old ballroom dancer. "I want him to teach me how to dance," she added.
Lucie's reaction pretty much echoed the nation's:
It was a major WTF moment for all as no one would have put Curtis and Maura together.

Firstly, Maura and Amy are mates so surely she wouldn't go there?! Just hours earlier she had been consoling Amy about Curtis's head being turned by Jourdan. There's also the fact that Maura's just come back from Casa Amor with her new fella Marvin, who she seemed pretty chuffed with.
Could it happen? Let's not forget that Curtis famously slid into Maura's Instagram DMs at the beginning of the year.
"I messaged [Maura] on Instagram one time saying she was really good looking," he admitted when she entered the villa.
So there's cleeeeearly a mutual attraction. If something does happen between the pair, we cannot see it going down well with poor Amy.

Of course, this could all be down to some selective editing by producers, in which case we'll try not to jump to conclusions and wait for tonights episode...
