If you haven't caught up on The Great British Bake Off there might be a few spoilers coming up.

In a huge twist, The Great British Bake Off tent is set to be axed for the first time, as contestants are challenged to take on a task outside the iconic marquee for the final.

Last night's semi-final saw Rahul, Kim-Joy and Ruby make it to the final, with Briony leaving the tent during a tricky Patisserie week.

The three bakers will be set a technical challenge outside of the tent next week without their usual baking equipment.

A source told The Mirror: "You won't need ovens or hobs for this challenge. It should be simple, but not everything goes to plan."

This will be the first time in eight years that the bakers have left the tent situated in Berkshire's Welford Park, and it could possibly upset a few viewers.

Speaking about the final, judge Paul Hollywood said: "It's going to be a fantastic final next week.

"We have got three great bakers and each one of them has this very artistic flair.

"If they bring their A-game, that is going to be the best final ever - I promise you."

Briony was the latest baker to leave the tent after her dipped Madeleine biscuits, seven-tier chocolate cake, or her 36-strong Patisserie window display, were not quite enough to take her to the final.

Some viewers were already convinced the 33-year-old had won the competition after she shared a picture of her Bake Off tattoos on social media.

On her exit from the tent, Briony said: "I'm sad to not be going through but so happy with how far I've come in so many ways. What an experience.

"I still love baking. I love it more than ever! I don't often say I'm proud of myself, but I am.

Sandi Toksvig delivered the news of Briony's departure to the tent but struggled to hold back the tears.

Clearly emotional, Sandi said: "So my job now is to be completely professional and not cry at all.

"It's tricky, because we are so fond of all of you and the person who is going home has been a complete force of nature in this tent.

"And I'm afraid the person not going through to the final is Briony."

As Sandi sobbed, Briony reassured her that it was okay and it was the right decision, while the presenter continued to apologise.

The Great Briitish Bake Off Final airs on Tuesday, 30th October at 8pm.
