The first trailer for the new Charlie's Angels movie has dropped and it's clear to see that the film's leading ladies; Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska, are ready to kick ass.

The action-packed reboot sees the trio taking over from the film franchise's former stars; Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore, to play new Angels Sabina Wilson, Elena Houghlin and Jane Kano.

In the latest incarnation of the film franchise, Charlie sends the Angels out after Naomi's character Elena informs them of a dangerous new technology which could potentially "weaponise" the power industry.

After alerting them to its existence, whistle blower Elena soon joins forces with Sabina (Stewart) and Jane (Balinska) to get the danger programme back from the villains.

And of course, their assignment isn't without its dangers as the trio find themselves fighting a lot of bad guys in true Angel style.

Aside from lots of ass-kicking, the trailer features plenty of wigs, explosions and an early-noughties favourite; a choreographed dance sequence. Yup, we're already on board with this.

This time around Elizabeth Banks, who is also the film's director and co-producer, appears as Bosley, known as John Bosley in the TV series, who helps the girls with their crime-fighting missions.

While Sam Claflin, Djimon Hounsou and Patrick Stewart have been cast as the three other Bosleys.

The internet's boyfriend Noah Centineo plays "handsome nerd" Langston and acts as a love interest to Ella's character Jane.

During the first look, fans also get a teaser of Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey and Miley Cyrus' upcoming musical collaboration for the flick.

Here's hoping it can live up to Destiny's Child's Independent Women.

This film is a continuation of the original two Charlie's Angels films, which were based on the 70s TV show of the same name, which starred Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith.

Charlie's Angels is out in cinemas on 15th November.
