Veronica Mars left our TV screens 12 years ago after just three seasons, and since then the private detective drama starring Kristen Bell has left a gaping hole in all of our lives.
It was briefly brought back for a 2014 film funded by a Kickstarter campaign, and co-creator Rob Thomas also wrote a couple of novels about our favourite teenage private detective.
Now, it's finally back for a fourth season on Hulu which is set to be eight episodes long and will debut on July 26.
The original series followed high school student Veronica (Kristen Bell) as she worked as a private detective trying to solve the mystery surrounding her best friend's death and a fatal bus crash.

She later tracked down a rapist and murderer at college, and the fourth season looks like it's going to focus on a wave of terrorist crimes.
The new trailer sees Veronica tasering an attacker before taking a photo of him "for the 'gram".

We then see her at Spring Break, talking about a crime wave in her fictional hometown Neptune shortly before a bomb appears to go off.
Veronica seems to think the attacks are potentially part of a plot to destroy Neptune as a Spring Break tourist destination, but it's likely that several potential leads will be explored throughout the eight episodes.
Veronica's new adventures will involve much of the original cast and will feature Patton Oswalt and J.K. Simmons, who have both said they're excited to be on board.

The new trailer follows on from a short teaser that was released last month, and focuses on a growing crime wave including shootings, muggings, and taserings.
Better yet, Hulu has acquired the rights to stream the first three seasons of the original show along with the film this summer.
