The Big Bang TheoryThe Big Bang Theory Halloween special saw the stars of the show dress up as each other during a costume battle between Howard and Sheldon.
During the episode Howard announced that Caltech is allowing them to dress up for Halloween and when asked about his idea for a costume he simply said it was a surprise.
As Sheldon walked down the hall dressed as Doc from Back To The Future he was stopped by Howard who was pulling off a pretty impressive Sheldon impression.
Howard was dressed in Sheldon's classic red top with the lightning bolt and slicked his hair back while impersonating the scientist.
Despite it being hilarious, the episode hoped to bring bullying to the forefront as Sheldon became upset at Howard's actions and sent his wife Amy to Howard's wife to ask him to stop making fun of him.
To get back at Howard, Sheldon and Amy decided to dress up as him and his wife Bernadette and the results were hilarious.
Amy wore a blonde wig, with glasses and a flowery top, whereas Sheldon channelled his inner Howard with a red polo neck, checked shirt and a bowl cut style wig.
Although we found it quite funny, we don't think we could deal with the confusion on the characters playing another character again.
The episode was loosely based on a real story one of the series' writers, Erik Kaplan, previously worked on Malcolm in the Middle, and one Halloween another writer dressed up as him.

Executive producer and showrunner, Steve Holland, told Glamour: "I don't think his feelings were hurt like Sheldon's.
"But it was such a great jumping-off point for a funny story that had real emotional repercussions for the characters.
"The thought of getting to see Simon Helberg do his Sheldon impression seemed really exciting, and that led to the idea that Sheldon and Amy could get their revenge by dressing as Howard and Bernadette. The whole thing really started to take shape."
