Someone Has Drawn Peppa Pig From The Front And It's Not Pretty

Someone Has Drawn Peppa Pig From The Front And It's Not Pretty

We only ever see Peppa from the side but now someone has sketched a front view of her. Be warned, though, it's weird.

Peppa Pig and terrifying aren't generally two phrases you would tend to put together, but maybe that's because you've never seen what the popular kid's cartoon character looks like from the front.

If you've ever seen the show before then you'll already be well aware that we only ever see the titular pig in profile and never from any other angles.

Keen to see what Peppa might look like from the front, Japanese Twitter user KwonHanchi sketched her from the front and the results are pretty disturbing.

The aspiring teenage animator shared an image of Peppa's 'left face', followed by a picture of her 'right face' and then an artistic visualisation of what you might see based on that if you were to look at her front on.

They later shared the image again, this time in colour, just to add that extra dimension of horror.

KwonHanchi's illustrations had the people of Twitter unified in disgust as they took to their keyboards to share their opinions on the mutant pig.

One person said: "Lmao how did she end up gaining two more eyes and nostrils for the front view?"

Another tweeted: "I've been laughing at this for an hour, help," while one more terrified tweeter said: "I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight."

Others said that they are now unable to watch the show without it giving them flashbacks of her front face.

"I mean, technically, wouldn't she have TWO snouts!?" another person queried, while another joked: "The stuff nightmares are made of."

"Peppa Pig is on in the waiting room we're sitting in, and I can't unsee that left face / front face / right face drawing," said one traumatised Twitter user.

Peppa Pig revolves around Peppa, an anthropomorphic female pig, and her family and friends, each of which is a different species of mammal.

Episodes tend to feature wholesome everyday activities such as attending playgroup, going swimming, visiting grandparents and cousins, going to the playground or riding bikes.

The show was originally broadcast in 2004 and went on to become popular in the UK, US, Australia and has won several awards.
