James Corden's Carpool Karaoke is no stranger to driving Twitter wild (whey!) - but this time, the franchise is trending for a rather different reason.
Fans of the hit segment, part of The Late Late Show on CBS, were in uproar after seeing the Gavin & Stacey star being towed along while filming The Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke segment on Thursday.

So, Carpool Karaoke involves zero driving, then.
The clip is claimed to show the 41-year-old presenter filming with Justin Bieber.
Shared by Twitter user Zoli Honig, the video was posted along with the caption: "Saw James corden and Justin Bieber filming carpool karaoke and this is why I have trust issues - he isn't even driving! Next thing you know they gonna tell us that his friends don't *actually* need a ride."
"MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE," wrote one shocked commentator.
Another wrote: "I used to respect James Corden for being able to concentrate on driving and singing at the same time: but now I feel betrayed. So even the Amigos, Mariah Carey, Michelle Obama and the rest was just a lie."

Jokes aside, when you think about the safety element involved, it's pretty obvious that James wouldn't actually be driving.
Singing, changing gear and shooting the breeze with Biebs, all while being filmed? Honestly, does anyone have that level of multitasking prowess?
One fan wrote: "I always wondered how safe it is, how the police didn't pull them over, i thought they had police cars to guard them in front and back and some unbusy street to do the shoot. I never thought that they pull the car."
