Pretty Woman is officially coming to London's West End as a stage musical.
You'll likely know the story best thanks to the Hollywood movie, which stars Richard Gere as a rich entrepreneur and Julia Roberts as a prostitute, who he falls in love with.
But now you'll be able to see it play out like never before, as it lands, all singing and all dancing, on London's West End.

Yep, Pretty Woman: The Musical is coming, featuring direction and choreography from two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray) and an original score by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance ("Summer of '69", "Heaven").
Fans of the original movie can rest easy: as it's a book musical (meaning performances are fully integrated into a narrative) by J.F. Lawton and Garry Marshall, the screenwriter and director of the original movie respectively, we can expect to see its iconic scenes included.
It also features scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, sound design by John Shivers and lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg, and orchestrations and musical arrangements by Will Van Dyke.

Pretty Woman: The Musical already had a successful run int he US, so you know you're in for a treat if you manage to bag a ticket.
It was meant to arrive in London earlier in the year, but has been delayed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Pretty Woman tells the story of businessman Edward (Gere) who comes across sex worker Vivian (Roberts) and is instantly taken by her charms. Before long, he offers her $3,000 to stay with him for six days, which she accepts, accompanying him to high profile events and getting a whole new wardrobe in the process.
