The BBC has launched a new competition to crown the UK's top dog stylist.
Fronted by Sheridan Smith, the new eight part series, named Pooch Perfect, will showcase ten pairs of professional dog stylists from around the country as they undergo a string of challenges and seek to transform pets so that they're as glam as can be.

The dogs will then flaunt their stylist's creations on The Dogwalk, before the judges deliberate and the animals' owners are given the chance to see their dog's "epic transformations" for the first time.
While on the show, the dogs will live lives of luxury in the specially built Pooch Palace.
The BBC promise the show will not only be barking good fun, but also feature information for dog lovers and owners alike.

Expect "top tips on responsible ownership, fun facts about dog breeds and a guide to at-home pooch pampering techniques."
The musical theatre star is the perfect host, seeing as she has six doggo of her own, and can regularly be seen gushing about them online.
"To combine my love of dogs with a brand-new job presenting for the BBC was a match made in heaven," she said in a statement.
"Everyone who knows me will understand that animals, and especially dogs, are very special to me.

"I live at home with six dogs, so presenting a show dedicated to our four-legged best friends didn't take much consideration.
"I'm used to being on set with lots of actors... this time I can't wait to hang out all day with dozens of dogs. For me, it is literally the dream job".
The show isn't a new concept, as it is already a hit in the US on Channel 7, hosted by actress Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect, Jojo Rabbit and Bridesmaids).
There isn't a release date yet, but we'll be sure to let you know when we have more details.
