It's finally happening!
The long-awaited sequel to the Peter Rabbit movie will be hitting UK cinemas on Monday, 17th May.
James Corden returns as the voice of Peter Rabbit in Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, alongside a star-studded cast including Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie.
The long-awaited sequel, originally set for a March 2020 release, sees the return of lovable rogue Peter Rabbit as he struggles to abandon his former trouble-making lifestyle. But when he finally ventures out of the garden, he discovers a whole new world and other creatures more suited to his mischievous ways.

However, Bea (Byrne), Thomas (Gleeson) and the rest of Peter's animal family risk everything to find him, encountering dangerous obstacles along the way. When the time comes, Peter must choose between his two worlds: will he decide to live with his new friends or go back to his makeshift family?
Fans of the first Peter Rabbit movie have been waiting a long time to find out what the adorable bunny will get up to next. The first live-action/computer-animated comedy film of the Peter Rabbit series came out back in 2018 when it grossed over $351.2 million (£249 million worldwide).
One of the first major releases to postpone and experiencing multiple delays due to coronavirus, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway will finally be available to watch in Scotland, Wales and England on Monday.

The Will Gluck-directed film release also coincides with the opening up of indoor cinemas as part of the UK's roadmap out of lockdown when indoor entertainment and attractions will open back up.
But one thing's for certain - the beloved children's character will be providing as many giggles as ever if the trailer is anything to go by, with Peter and his friends causing plenty of mayhem and even dipping their toes (paws?) into sky-diving.
It's been a long time coming, but it's great to have Peter Rabbit hopping back on to the big screen.
