Netflix's latest thriller starring Sandra Bullock Bird Box was released last week and people are already obsessed with it.
Bird Box was released on the 21st December and it sounds like plenty of fans opted to binge on the thriller over the usual festive favourites this Christmas.
The film sees Bullock's character attempt to save her two children after a mysterious force takes over which makes people take their own lives if they see it with their own eyes.
To survive, mum-of-two Malorie Shannon will have to undertake a perilous journey with her children while they are all blindfolded.
The family live with their windows covered up at home and when they leave the house they have to wear blindfolds at all times.
Bird Box is based on Josh Malerman's 2014 novel and social media users are obsessed with the adaptation.
One viewer wrote: "I hate Bird Box because it made me feel like I was actually in the movie and it was TERRIFYING."
Another added: "I am obsessed with Bird Box", and a third wrote: "Woke up scared of opening my eyes cause of Bird Box."
Some viewers were also left too scared to walk around their house without a blindfold. One wrote: "Bird Box got me feeling like a dumb*ss because now I'm scared to walk around my house with my eyes open."
However, in true Twitter style it wasn't long before the memes started to appear and they are honestly gold.
The full synopsis for the film reads: "When a mysterious force decimates the world's population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life.
"Facing the unknown, Malorie finds love, hope and a new beginning only for it to unravel. Now she must flee with her two children down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary.
