But it wasn't just Cillian Murphy's undeniable good looks set fans off, as they also spotted a touching moment of kindness from the hardened gangster he played.
Fans of the show will remember that Tommy and the late Alfie Solomons - played by Tom Hardy - didn't have the smoothest of relationships, but despite this, the new series shows that Tommy has now taken in his beloved dog, Cyril.
"What a big softie... Tommy Shelby not as woofless as he makes out...He only went and kept Cyril #PeakyBlinders," one viewer wrote.

While another added: "Best part of Peaky Blinders was discovering that Tommy Shelby was true to Alfie Solomon's final wish to look after his dog, Cyril. F*cking love that."
"This is such a happy moment. Cyril is ok & getting looked after," a third wrote.
Jewish mobster Alfie was killed by Tommy at the end of season four, after he pleaded with him to end his life following a devastating cancer diagnosis.

While Tommy initially refused, when Alfie shot him in the leg he eventually succumbed and killed him with a fatal shot.
Before his died, Alfie had begged Tommy to take care of his beloved dog Cyril, who was never far from his side.
But at the time, Tommy bluntly refused, leaving viewers questioning if he really was evil after-all.
"Well, his name is Cyril and he will be very upset and distressed, so you'll need to find him someone," Alfie then poignantly told him, just moments before Tommy ended his life and seemingly abandoned the dog on the seashore.
