Peaky Blinders mania is at an all-time high with the explosive fifth series currently on-screens.
And now creator Steven Knight is sure to get fans into a tizzy as he announced a potential movie of the BBC crime drama when the show comes to an end.
Can you imagine Thomas Shelby teaming up with Aunt Polly and Arthur on the big screen? Incredible scenes.
Knight also revealed that he's almost finished writing the sixth series and looking to write a seventh - be still our beating hearts, another TWO series.
Speaking at the Peaky Blinders Legitimate festival in Digbeth over the weekend, he said: "I'm writing series six at the moment. That's almost done.
"Then I'm going to do series seven, then I'm looking at spin-offs, maybe a movie. It's up to us. It's up to the people involved."
Knight admitted that he would decide on the future film version along with the show's star Cillian Murphy and producer Caryn Mandabac. We wait with bated breath on this one.
While a film is in the works, fans of the show don't hold out for a prequel to the beloved drama as the writer said that he had no interest in writing one.
However, Knight said at the festival, which saw Liam Gallagher make an appearance, that he wants to bring the plot to the cusp of the Second World War by the final series.
By finishing the TV storyline in the late 1930s, the show runner said he hopes that the plot would perfectly transition to what he has planned for the silver screen.
He said: "The problem with a prequel is you're limiting yourself as to where it can go. You can't kill a character who can show up in the series."
We can't help it, we're truly excited about this news.
