'GBBO' Viewers Horrified At The Way Paul Hollywood Eats A Burger

You can put your airs and graces on when eating plenty of foods - but burgers are not one of them.

The iconic food made up of a patty and bun is best eaten with two hands, and then promptly shoved in the mouth. But someone needs to tell Paul Hollywood this.

On Tuesday night's episode of the Great British Bake Off, viewers were left "infuriated" by his burger-eating technique, and they were not holding back.

It was the hallowed Bread Week in the tent as the ten remaining contestants battled it out to 'prove' themselves to the bread aficionado and his co-judge Prue Leith.

For the technical, the 53-year-old had the cohort of bakers test their hand at making floured burger baps - with a burger to go inside, too.

But the horror began when it came to the judging, and instead of picking up each burger and giving it a bite like a normal person, Paul proceeded to pick away at it with a fork, like, well, a damn psychopath.

Naturally, the British public were pulling no punches upon seeing his strange tekkers.

"It's official, Paul Hollywood cannot be trusted. Why did you make them do this and WHY are you eating the patty part with a fork??," fumed one person, adding: "BITE THE BURGER YOU MADE THEM MAKE WHAT IS HAPPENING?!"

"Can't believe paul got them to make burgers on the bake off and now he's trying them with a fork??," raged another.

"Getting absolutely infuriated with Paul & Prue not taking a bit of the burgers but just scraping them with a fork," shared a third.

One even went so far as the say: "Already didn't like Paul Hollywood, but watching him pick at the side of those burgers with a fork and taste the tiniest morsel ever fills me with hatred."

WOW.

Erm, guys, it's probably fair to say Paul didn't fancy chowing down on 10 whole burgers mid show. He was just *tasting* them after all.

But as a television personality, Mr Hollywood should know by now that every single thing you do will be scrutinised by the British public. Including how you eat your burg.
