Netflix has just released a two-minute long trailer for a special documentary all about dogs, and it looks incredible.

The dog-umentary has been titled Dogs (what else would it be called?) and will follow the unique stories of six pooches and their owners around the world.

And if the trailer is anything to go by, it is guaranteed to be a real tear-jerker:

Dogs is set to celebrate 'the deep emotional bonds between people and their beloved four-legged friends' in countries including Syria, Japan, Italy, USA and Costa Rica.

"I can't imagine my life without dogs," says one of the show's stars in the trailer.

Dogs will highlight not only how we take care of our four-legged friends, as it will show how they look after us in return.

It will feature the story of therapy dogs, who loyally help people with disabilities navigate through life, proving emotional and physical support - the first episode will centre on an 11-year-old girl who suffers from seizures and her certified therapy dog, Rory.

The subscription streaming service's second episode will follow the heartbreaking story of Ayham, who is trying to rescue his Husky 'trapped in Syria'.

He's prepared to risk everything to get Zeus back.

The sixth episode will document dog adoption by following Hearts and Bones, which rescues dogs from a kill shelter in the south and brings them to NYC for a better life.

Other episodes of the docu-series will centre on an Italian fisherman whose dog is a partner in the business, dog groomers taking part in competitions and animal shelter workers in the Costa Rican rainforest.

"Dogs don't just make us feel loved, dogs make us feel safe," series creator Glenn Zipper told Variety.

"In the world we live in today, no matter how divided we are, we should take care to realise how much dogs mean to all of us, and how our bond with them can help bring us together."

The Netflix series will be six episodes long, and will drop onto the streaming platform on 16th November, so there is not long left to wait.
