Not alone on his search mission, Josh (Colin Ford) is joined by quite the duo of misfits; Angelica, a 12-year-old pyromaniac, and former high-school-bully-turned-pacifist Wesley.

In his search to find his other half, the series chronicles Josh's attempts to stay alive amongst the horde of Mean Girls-style gangs, who he describes in the trailer as evil jocks, badass cheerleaders and poetic-looking geeks, and the adults who have now turned into zombies called Ghoulies.

The teen series, which is set to arrive on Netflix on Thursday, 24th October, is described as: "Living his best life in post-apocalyptic LA, a slacked strives to find the girl of his dreams while outwitting mindless ghouls and cliquish gangs."

In recent months, the streaming service has released a whole hoard of teen dramas; The Society, 13 Reasons Why and the ever kooky, The Politician.

Recently, teen drama Elite returned to Netflix with it's second season and it has everyone hooked.

Season one follows the clash between those have everything and those who have nothing which is heightened when one of the students, Marina, a popular student who is HIV positive, is murdered.

What follows is conspiracy, finger-pointing and plot twists galore as the students seek to find the truth.

Season two picks up with Nano in jail murder, while his brother Sam seeks to do anything he can to prove his brother is innocent. Meanwhile, suspicion is rife among the students who are all unsure of who they can trust

There's also a ton of new students joining the cast, who each bring with them their own twist and turns to the plot.

The show is billed as the Spanish relative of shows like Pretty Little Lies and Riverdale - which can only be a good thing.

Daybreak arrives on Netflix on Thursday, 24th October.
