Married At First Sight viewers have claimed "love is dead" after both couples' marriages came to an end on Wednesday night's episode.
Heartbroken viewers were distraught when they learned Jonathan had sent Stephanie annulment papers in a Christmas card, after making many complaints about their relationship.
But, things went from bad to worse when Jack ended things with Verity just three months after they had opted to stay together, meaning none of the series couples have stayed together.

Viewers had noticed Jonathan and Stephanie's relationship going sour, so it was more a question of when they'd decide to split, rather than if. The time finally came as Stephanie introduced her hubby to her beloved pet cat - who caused Jonathan to suffer an allergic reaction, forcing him to flee the house.
Most fans believed that Stephanie would be the one to eventually call time on their marriage, but their love story came to a shock twist when Jonathan sent the surprise Christmas gift, in the form of an annulment.
After seeing the message from Jonathan which discussed "going forward in friendship," Stephanie didn't know how to react when she saw the card included annulment papers, signaling the end of their short-lived marriage.

However, some viewers took to Twitter to question why they were even matched in the first place...
Viewers were over the moon when Jack and Verity revealed they would give their marriage a go, but fans were left devastated to discover their relationship had failed to last.

Despite walking off into the sunset hand in hand, Jack dumped Verity three months into their marriage, blaming a "lack of connection" but adding that he hoped they could stay friends.
Verity wasn't the only one left heartbroken by Jack's decision as viewers took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
