Love Island's Tom Walker left the villa alongside Arabella Chi following Thursday night's surprise dumping.

And while he wasn't a hit with Maura Higgins, who he was coupled up with, Tom is apparently B&Q's type on paper after it was revealed he modelled the retailer's forthcoming range of toilet mechanisms.

In a rib-tickling social media post by the hardware brand, fans of the ITV2 dating show saw the Leeds native dressed as a plumber, kneeling beside a toilet surrounded by a range of fixings, pipes and a measuring tape.

Shared before his unceremonious dumping, the retailer wished him well and joked that they didn't want Tom's "chances of finding love go down the toilet" - we see what they did there.

The post read: "We don't want to see Love Island Tom's chances of finding love go down the toilet, so we're keeping everything crossed for him for tonight's episode.

"P.S. thanks Tom for making our forthcoming range of toilet mechanisms look 100% our type on paper!"

The post, which was shared on B&Q's social media channels, had viewers in stitches as they commented on the newly-emerged photo, with a number of tradesmen pointing out that he was fitting the loo.

One penned: "Where's that waste pipe going? There's a distinct lack of hole in the wall?! Blokes as clueless at plumbing as he is at love - no bathroom is safe from Tom."

"Tom is 100% my type on toilet paper," another said. "Not quite the modelling I was expecting."

A third joked: "ya know when he walked into the villa and said he was a model this wasn't what I was expecting at all".

The model was voted off the Island during Thursday's dumping after his fate was left in the hands of Molly-Mae Hague, Amber Gill and Lucie Donlan.

The trio had to select either Tom or Danny Williams to leave - with the former ultimately going.
